We are taking a well earned rest after 39 consecutive episodes, and hope you are enjoying the show.  As well as community TV C31 in Melbourne which averages over 40,000 viewers a week, we are now being shown in Queensland 6 times a week!  And we have also had interest from Western Australia.
As you web surfers know, we also provide a gig guide which covers artists of the era all over Australia, plus our new CD page which gives information about new releases both here and overseas, and the new online shop.  Of course all this takes time, and we feel that in the whole scheme of our vision for Wrokdown we are supplying a service both to the musicians and to you.  I am positive it is all worth the time and effort.  This is the only site where you will find all this information from the artists of the 60's and 70's.
The kids of today don't know how good we had it back in our heyday.  We were in heaven, with our favourite bands playing almost every night, and their songs conquering the airwaves.  It is my belief that you don't have a music industry if you don't have a multitude of good original bands, and that is what is sadly lacking today.  It is so bad out there that even cover bands are finding it hard to get work.  This is serious stuff.
Which is why it is so important to have Wrokdown supporting these artists.  These are the guys who were SO good that their old songs are still being played today.
